In December 2021 HAL partnered with Cascade Built to bring 107 predominantly small efficiency dwelling unit apartments to the growing Central District neighborhood. The building will be developed to Passive House standards, which greatly reduces the building’s energy consumption thereby reducing the ecological impact. The project will provide the rapidly expanding Central District with a naturally more affordable housing alternative at a quality not currently found in the area. Construction is projected to complete in Q1 2024.
