JONATHAN MANHEIM
President
Jonathan Manheim serves as President where he oversees the company’s strategy, sourcing and structuring of new investments, and management of the existing portfolio.
Prior to joining HAL, Jonathan served as Director of Finance and Development for American Life. Earlier in his career, he held various investment roles with Clairvue Capital Partners (now StepStone Real Estate), the KOR Group, and Credit Suisse.
Within the Seattle real estate community, Jonathan serves on the boards of NAIOP Washington and the Pacific Real Estate Institute. He also mentors students at the UW Runstad Center for Real Estate Studies.
Jonathan earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, where he concentrated in Real Estate and Urban Studies.
kelley kohout
Vice President
Kelley Kohout serves as Vice President where he is responsible for the identification of new investment opportunities and oversight of HAL’s development projects.
Before joining HAL, Kelley worked for Trammell Crow Company and Quarterra where he managed acquisition, financing, construction, leasing and disposition of multifamily and mixed-use developments. Earlier in his career, Kelley worked at JLL where he served as an owner’s representative for the Army and Air Force in their housing privatization projects in California, Oklahoma and Hawaii.
Kelley earned his Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Dartmouth College and obtained an MBA from Duke’s Fuqua School.
Roger Long
Vice President
Roger Long serves as Vice President where he is responsible for sourcing new investments, arranging project debt, and managing the operating portfolio.
Prior to joining HAL, Roger served as a Senior Vice President for Wells Fargo where he originated and managed over $2.5 billion of construction, bridge, and structured debt capital for private equity and institutional commercial real estate investors. During his tenure at the bank he also chaired Wells Fargo CRE’s Retention & Recruitment Committee and served on Wells Fargo’s Multifamily Council.
Within the Seattle real estate community, Roger serves as a guest lecturer at the University of Washington Certificate in Commercial Real Estate Program and is active in NAIOP Washington and ULI Northwest.
Roger earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Miami University, where he concentrated in Finance, and also completed the University of Washington Certificate in Commercial Real Estate Program.
Ramen Vohra
Vice President
Ramen Vohra serves as Vice President where she is responsible for overseeing the firm’s accounting function, including financial reporting and tax compliance, as well as oversight of cash management and internal controls.
Prior to joining HAL, Ramen spent 14 years in finance and accounting leadership roles at real estate investment management firms including Bentall Kennedy, Stockbridge Capital Group and Hines. Previously, Ramen spent 11 years in public accounting and consulting roles providing assurance and litigation consulting services to companies across a variety of industries including real estate, biotechnology and tech.
Ramen earned her Bachelor of Commerce and Business Administration from the University of British Columbia where she concentrated in Accounting. Ramen is also a licensed CPA.
Diana Eldefrawy
Director
Diana Eldefrawy serves as Director where she drives the underwriting of new investments, asset management analysis, and market research.
Prior to joining HAL, Diana served as a Project Manager for HVS, where she consulted on projects and developed appraisals, feasibility studies, and market studies for a variety of hotel assets across the Southeastern United States.
Diana earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Hotel Management from Hotelschool The Hague where she concentrated on Hotel Real Estate and Investments.
tia asher
Analyst
Tia Asher serves as an Analyst where she assists with the underwriting of new investments, asset management analysis, and market research.
Prior to joining HAL, Tia worked for PH Development where she learned how to structure real estate partnerships and was exposed to the permitting and design elements of the real estate development process.
Tia earned her Bachelor of Science in Commerce in Finance and Real Estate from Santa Clara University.
