In July 2021 HAL provided The Sound West Group a mezzanine loan to help finance the development of 280 apartments and 3,000 square feet of retail on Downtown Bremerton’s waterfront. The project is located steps from the Bremerton Ferry Terminal and within walking distance of the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. The development includes a mix of extended stay rentals and traditional apartments. Three levels of subterranean parking provides 364 stalls for tenant use and Seattle-bound ferry commuters. Construction began in March 2019 and was completed in November 2022.
