In July 2022, HAL partnered with Lake Union Partners to develop a 158-unit, mixed-use project with 3,000 square feet of retail in Seattle’s North Rainier neighborhood. The project is located directly across from Grand Street Commons, another one of HAL’s and LUP’s projects. State Street Lofts furthers the placemaking that has begun with the development of Grand Street Commons, which introduced a new retail hub and more residential density to the area. State Street Lofts is a 5-minute walk from the future Judkins Park light rail station and provides residents easy access to Downtown Seattle as well as the Eastside by public transit, car and bike. Construction completed in July 2024.
