In October 2017 HAL partnered with MainStreet Property Group for a second time in order to respond to, and win, an RFP from the City of Woodinville for the redevelopment of Woodinville’s 3.3-acre Civic Campus. The partnership designed a 264-unit, two-building apartment project with 34,000 square feet of retail that incorporates the existing historic schoolhouse and YMCA buildings. The project also includes wine tasting rooms, over an acre of public space and subterranean parking for residents, retailers and the visiting public. Construction began in May 2019 and was completed in September 2021. Retailers include Walla Wall Steak Co. and Crossbuck Brewing, Ballard Pizza Company, Oasis Spa, The Nutty Squirrel, Café Dupar, Valdemar Estates, L’Ecole, Montinore Estate, Landlines Estates, McQueen Champagne Bar, and Barnard Griffin.
